2026 Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics Materials Grant

The Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics is excited to once again offer grants
for Utah math teachers and educators to support high quality student-centered mathematics instruction.

UCTM is offering TWO grants this year. The first is the LARGE Materials Grant.
This grant provides opportunities for you to reimagine your instruction with new materials.
It provides up to $1500 to purchase materials to support and enhance your mathematics instruction.
Examples of proposals that have been funded include: Site licenses for applications and software; 3D printers;
whiteboards to support implementation of Building Thinking Classrooms; classroom sets of manipulatives;
and speed/motion sensors.

UCTM’s SMALL Materials Grant offers up to $300 to support your instruction.
This grant is perfect for smaller requests such as supplies for activity centers; manipulatives;
demonstration kits; or consumables for your favorite tasks or activities.

Applications are open now through June 15, 2026.
Decisions and notifications will be made in early August.

UCTM will host two Q&A sessions on May 27, 2026 from 6-7pm and June 4, 2026 from 7-8pm.
The purpose of these sessions is to provide you with opportunities to hear
more information about the grants to ask questions or get support for your application.
These sessions are optional and attendance will not affect decisions on which grants are funded.

To register for either of these sessions please fill out the form linked below.
Zoom links will be emailed before the day of the session.
